Higher Industrial Engineer (Mechanical) from the ICAI school in Madrid, Spain, and from The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He was trained as an HPR engineer by Kemper, in the United States and has since dedicated his career to Fire Protection, holding management positions in several insurance companies (Kemper, AXA, AON) and PCI engineering companies (Indico Risk) and sectoral organizations, being the first European Director of SFPE (Society of Fire Protection Engineers).

Roberto has amassed over three decades of extensive experience in fire risk prevention and safety engineering. Beginning his career in 1989 at ICI as a Process Chemical Engineer, he swiftly ascended to the role of Plant Superintendent, overseeing substantial teams and operations. Transitioning to roles such as Senior Safety Engineer at ICI Engineering and later as a Property Loss Control Consultant at QBE-Kemper, he honed his expertise in fire safety studies, risk assessment, and hazard analysis. His tenure at AXA-Kemper HPR and XL Insurance Global Risk further enriched his capabilities as a Senior Risk Engineer and Regional Field Leader, respectively, specializing in property loss control and prevention strategies. With a wealth of experience, Roberto has now embarked on a new chapter as an Engineer Manager at Pacifico Risk, continuing his dedication to enhancing fire risk prevention measures.
